This project was an interesting one. I decided to use the shadows casted from the students to create these abstract forms. Using charcoal and water I wanted to get that same look and feel as black tar or oil, while saving the wall from damage. then using red paint i would loosely outline the head of each person.. all in all i think the project was a success, with a few happy accidents.. i learned that i don't necessarily need to think out every step and that i should just let the work happen.

Through the process of creating the class as medium art project, I learned many things. I learned that people can be manipulated easily if they are given accurate, clear, and thorough directions. If I did not map out clear directions for each of the 5 volunteers, they may not have been in the desired places and poses. I am happy with the turnout and process of the piece. I would have liked more people to be in the library in order to have the class feel more out of place and awkward.
